About
Why This Programme — and Why Now
Yoga participation has grown rapidly, yet the industry remains completely unregulated. With so many styles, teachers and trainings, it’s harder than ever for practitioners to know what’s safe, evidence-informed or genuinely supportive of long-term wellbeing. At the same time, modern life leaves many of us overwhelmed and disconnected from our own bodies.
People aren’t looking for performance — they’re looking for clarity, steadiness and understanding.
Yoga for Life was created for exactly this moment. It brings together the collective strength of two established community studios: Mula Yoga and Mandala Studio, places known for their care, integrity and deep roots in Southport and Burscough. These studios have supported hundreds of people over the years, creating trusted, welcoming spaces where students feel held and seen.
Emily, Helen and Natalie unite through a non-competitive, collaborative approach inspired by the Yoga Sutras: friendship, compassion and community. Each brings different expertise, psychology, philosophy, somatics, breathwork, lineage-based practicem, but we share one intention:
To offer a safe, intelligent foundation for people who want to deepen their practice, understand the “why”, and build wellbeing habits that last.
Yoga for Life exists because learning is more powerful and more meaningful when we do it together.
